Sportswashing e le mutevoli dinamiche globali della costruzione dell'immagine internazionale
Abstract
Questo articolo ha esaminato le origini dello sportswashing, con particolare attenzione alle sue forme e al relativo impatto. Ha inoltre analizzato il modo in cui lo sportswashing sta influenzando lo spazio civico a seguito di dinamiche in evoluzione. I dati sono stati raccolti e analizzati da fonti governative e non governative. Nel corso di questa ricerca sono state consultate informazioni provenienti da periodici, capitoli di libri e giornali online. Le principali conclusioni di questo articolo rivelano il ritmo senza precedenti che lo sportswashing ha assunto dall'inizio del nuovo millennio e il potenziale della sua diffusione. Pertanto, entrambi gli autori hanno raccomandato con urgenza la necessità per le entità sportive di adottare misure pragmatiche, come l'integrazione di politiche in materia di diritti umani, cambiamenti climatici e ambiente nelle loro strutture, per accettare un Paese, entità aziendali e individui come organizzatori, sponsor, partner e finanziatori di qualsiasi evento sportivo.
