El lavado de imagen a través del deporte y la cambiante dinámica global de la construcción de la imagen internacional

Resumen

Este artículo examinó los orígenes del lavado de imagen a través del deporte, con especial atención a sus formas y su impacto. También analizó cómo este fenómeno está afectando el espacio cívico debido a la evolución de la dinámica deportiva. Se recopilaron y analizaron datos de fuentes gubernamentales y no gubernamentales. Durante la investigación, se consultó información de publicaciones periódicas, capítulos de libros y periódicos en línea. Las principales conclusiones revelan el ritmo sin precedentes que ha cobrado el lavado de imagen a través del deporte desde el inicio del nuevo milenio y su potencial de difusión. Por lo tanto, ambos autores recomiendan con urgencia que las entidades deportivas adopten medidas pragmáticas, como la incorporación de políticas de derechos humanos, cambio climático y medio ambiente en sus estructuras, para aceptar a países, empresas e individuos como anfitriones, patrocinadores, socios y financiadores de eventos deportivos.
