Interfaces and dissensions on the origin and development of football in south america: brettle sport in argentine and brazilian lands
Abstract
Considered the most popular sport in the world, football is increasingly noticed in its main elements. It is within this perspective that the main objective of this study was to understand the forms that have been given to the arrival and development of soccer in Brazil and Argentina, seeking to perceive similar and differentiated aspects in the consolidation of sport as a national passion. For that, exploratory research and bibliographic research were carried out. It was noted that the process of arrival of the sport to the Argentine and Brazilian territories was influenced by the national relations of these countries with English elements installed here, as well as passing through phases such as "brown amateurism" and later professionalization during the same periods. However, it is important to realize that, despite the importance that the clubs and teams of these countries have achieved in the international arena, this process was differentiated in both countries. In any case, the visualization of the historical aspects that consolidated this sociological phenomenon, eventually became lights in this process of the necessary understanding of the present day.
