Fomentation and contributions of the futsal modality in the state of São Paulo to grassroots base football using as an example the case “competitions of the paulista futsal federation”: considerations for the simultaneous practice between futsal and grass

Abstract

The present study aims to propose a quantitative-qualitative dialogue regarding the integrated practice of futsal and football related to their base categories - male. Starting from the case competitions of the São Paulo Futsal Federation - FPFS and, through descriptive and bibliographical research on the plot and forms of organization and dispute of official competitions in this context, we make use of results relating to the number of categories; teams; approximate number of athletes; and, games carried out, in the condition of enhancing the phenomenon raised here. Therefore, in line with the data presented, what can be inferred is the panorama about the practice of futsal and, its compilation shows us an assertive mapping about the wealth of information related to the practice of the sport in the state of São Paulo-SP. In this sense, the promotion of the sport and its practice at the state level (training and official games) tends to offer children and young players a high number of minutes on the court (practice time). Thus, if well used by the football clubs participating in the competitions listed, it is expected to be possible to use the reference numbers presented to expand the recruitment of new players, for subsequent insertion in the processes of simultaneous practice/integration between futsal and football, contributing so that the athlete obtains significant gains in technical and tactical aspects, culminating, even, in the natural and definitive transition to football, or also with the real possibility of playing futsal for its own sake.
