Abstract
Introduction: Introduction: The analysis of the temporal incidence of goals is crucial to understand the critical moments of matches and inform training strategies and game tactics. Objective: To analyze the temporal incidence of goals during the Paulista Women's Football Championship in the year 2023. Materials and methods: Data available on the official website of the Confederação Paulista de Futebol were collected. The official game time (90 minutes) in addition, the goals were collected every 15 minutes, thus generating 6 intervals. Statistical analyzes were performed using the Krusk-Walls test with post hoc D’ums. Results: There was no significant difference between the number of goals scored in the first and second half, whereas in the time intervals analyzed, there was a lower number of goals scored in the 45-minute interval until the end of the first half compared to the other intervals. Conclusion: The 2023 Campeonato Paulista Feminino analyzed showed that first-half stoppage time (45) is the period with the lowest number of goals scored.
