La relación entre el salto vertical y las pruebas de agilidad en futbolistas menores de 20 años

Resumen

Estudios en futbolistas muestran que los atletas con valores más altos de rendimiento de fuerza en los miembros inferiores tienden a ser más rápidos y ágiles en los desplazamientos. El objetivo de este estudio es verificar las relaciones entre las pruebas de salto vertical y el rendimiento de agilidad en jugadores de fútbol. Participaron del estudio 27 futbolistas (18,38±0,41 años) de un club de la región de Campinas-SP. Las pruebas de salto vertical fueron: el salto vertical con media sentadilla a partir de una posición estática (SJ), el salto vertical con contramovimiento (CMJ), y saltos verticales continuos de 5 segundos de duración (CJ5s); las pruebas de agilidad fueron: Illinois Agility Test come sin balón. El análisis de regresión lineal múltiple reveló una contribución significativa del rendimiento de las pruebas de salto vertical en fútbol en la variación del rendimiento en la prueba de agilidad (R2 = 0,61; p = 0,0023). Hubo una fuerte correlación en la técnica de salto vertical CJ5s con la agilidad, y correlaciones moderadas para SJ, CMJ con la agilidad. Cuanto mayor sea la manifestación de CJ5, menor será el tiempo cubierto en la trayectoria de la prueba de agilidad, en consecuencia, más rápidos serán los jugadores de fútbol.
