Determinants of leadership cahnges: the case of the brazilian football championship
Abstract
This study aims to address the change in leadership within a given organization, specifically in Brazilian football championship. The subject is analyzed with a Probit model to 2010 til 2014 data. The results suggest some variables that may explain the layoffs, as follows: championship round, whether the coach in charge is considered a winner, defeat in the last game and expectation performance.
