Abstract

The aim was identifying the models that explain the relationship between different variables of the scout and compare these variables between round and home advantage of Brazilian championship 2013. Were analyzed 380 games. The multiple regression models indicate that the attempts, attempts on target, goals, balance scores, passes completed and ball possession were significant as dependent variables; for the first round, attempts, goals, ball possession, balance score and passes completed; for the second round, attempts, goals, ball possession and attempts on target. Identify the models and their independent variables can contribute to realizing a technical and tactical work that best relates to the complexity of the game.
